5 Year Structural Warranty

At Beau Interiors, we build our furniture with longevity in mind.

Our 5 Year Structural Warranty reflects the confidence we have in the quality and structural craftsmanship of Beau Interiors furniture.

The warranty applies to the original purchaser for five years from the date of purchase and covers qualifying structural faults resulting from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and appropriate care.

Our 5 Year Structural Warranty is provided in addition to your rights under New Zealand consumer law.

What Our 5 Year Structural Warranty Covers

Our warranty covers qualifying defects in the structural components of Beau Interiors-made furniture, including:

  • Timber joinery

  • Furniture frames

  • Structural supports and bases

  • Structural connections manufactured or installed by us

If a covered structural issue occurs within the five-year warranty period, we’ll assess the furniture and determine an appropriate solution, which may include repair or replacement.

What Our 5 Year Structural Warranty Doesn’t Cover

Our warranty does not cover deterioration or damage resulting from:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Scratches, dents, stains or accidental damage

  • Natural timber characteristics and normal seasonal movement

  • Natural changes in timber colour or finish over time

  • Misuse, neglect or inadequate care

  • Unauthorised alterations, repairs or modifications

  • Exposure to unsuitable weather, moisture, heat or environmental conditions

  • Failure to follow reasonable care and maintenance instructions

  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control

These exclusions relate to our voluntary 5 Year Structural Warranty and do not limit any rights or remedies you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other applicable New Zealand consumer law.

Outdoor Furniture

Furniture used outdoors naturally experiences greater exposure to weather, moisture and extreme climate conditions.

Our 5 Year Structural Warranty covers qualifying structural faults resulting from defects in materials or workmanship. Normal weathering, surface wear, fading and ongoing maintenance requirements are not covered.

Furniture intended for outdoor environments should be maintained appropriately for its materials and intended use.

Making a Warranty Claim

If you believe your furniture has developed a structural issue, please email beauinteriorsnz@gmail.com with:

  • Your name

  • Your order details

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photographs of the furniture and issue

We may request additional information or arrange an inspection so we can properly assess the furniture.

If the issue qualifies under our 5 Year Structural Warranty, we’ll work with you to determine the appropriate remedy.

Consumer Rights

Our 5 Year Structural Warranty is an additional warranty provided by Beau Interiors.

Nothing in this warranty limits or excludes any rights or remedies available to you under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Fair Trading Act 1986, or other applicable New Zealand law.
